#5737 THE ASSOCIATION OF SERUM IRISIN WITH EARLY PATENCY LOSS OF ARTERIOVENOUS FISTULA

چکیده
Abstract Background and Aims In patients receiving hemodialysis (HD), arteriovenous fistula (AVF) is the preferred form of vascular access owing to its long-term patency low risk infection. Early loss AVF (≤1 year) associated with higher mortality morbidity. Irisin thought play a protective role in regulation endothelial function calcification. However, relationship between serum irisin level early unclear. Method 73 end-stage kidney disease (ESKD) patients, including pre-dialysis who receive placement for first time (n = 10), HD 24), that lose more than 1 year 39), fasting (>8 hours) levels other biochemical parameters (hemoglobin, albumin, calcium, phosphate, intact parathyroid hormone, triglyceride, total cholesterol, D-Dimer, fibrinogen, FGF23, C-reactive protein) were measured before or after thrombosis. All had radial-cephalic fistula. Results Among (median age 58 years, 60.3% male, 31.5% diabetes mellitus (DM)), significantly levels, lower compared two groups. Other characteristics no significant difference among these three groups (shown Table 1). Conclusion whose maintained year. The increase may be related putative compensatory mechanisms against injury, which then lost longer dialysis duration aggravated damage.

effect of heparin on the patency of arteriovenous fistula
patients with end stage renal disease need a good vascular access for hemodialysis. arteriovenous fistula is the method of choice for vascular access in these patients. however, failure of arteriovenous fistula due to thrombosis is a major problem. the aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of the heparin on the patency of the arteriovenous fistula. this prospective interventional case co...
متن کاملHyperphosphatemia is associated with patency loss of arteriovenous fistula after 1 year of hemodialysis
BACKGROUND The patency of arteriovenous access is important for stable and effective hemodialysis, and long-term technical survival is best achieved with a native arteriovenous fistula (AVF). However, maintaining AVF patency remains a challenge. This study was designed to determine the independent prognostic factors for AVF patency according to hemodialysis duration. METHODS The primary study...

15 صفحه اولData Mining Performance in Identifying the Risk Factors of Early Arteriovenous Fistula Failure in Hemodialysis Patients
Background and Objectives: Arteriovenous fistula is a popular vascular access method for surgical treatment of hemodialysis patients. The method, however, is associated with a high rate of early failure varying in the range of 20-60%. Predicting early Arteriovenous fistula failure and its risk factors can help reduce its incidence, its hospitalization rate, and associated costs. In this study, ...
متن کاملAortic Arch Calcification Predicts Patency Loss of Arteriovenous Fistula in End-Stage Renal Disease Patients
Aortic arch calcification (AAC) is recognized as an important cardiovascular risk factor in patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD). The aim of the study was to evaluate the impact of AAC grade on patency rates of arteriovenous fistula (AVF) in this specific population. The data of 286 ESRD patients who had an initial AVF placed were reviewed. The extent of AAC identified on chest radiogra...
